Nintendo (The Nintendo Entertainment System)

Dan Kemp/Lou Carnevale Episode 24

Text us and say hello!

The term 'classic' can be applied to so many things; cars, music, movies, TV shows, and of course, video games.  And speaking of video games, no other console deserves the title of 'classic' more than the Nintendo Entertainment System, which, by the way, came out almost FORTY years ago (in case you wanted to feel old for a moment).

Nintendo was a HUGE part of my life growing up, and is the reason I still play video games to this day.  So, for the entire month of March, in honor of Mario Day ('Mar10' -- get it?), we're going to dive a little deeper on the Nintendo Consoles from our childhood (and yours too, most likely), starting with the Nintendo Entertainment System.

Lou and I sat down and talk all about our favorite games, the joys of 2-player mode, what games have aged the best, and what games have aged the worst.  And we FINALLY attempt to answer the question, "How do you pronounce 'Mario'?"

Make sure to check out my list of Top 10 NES games on YouTube

AND, you can join in on the debate about Mario's name by grabbing a shirt!
